Air pollution is one of the most pressing environmental problems we have as of date. With this, a lot of concerned people wanted to be able to contribute in solving this problem. There was even this machine from alpine industries that claimed to be able to reduce pollutants in the air.
What I think however is that using machines and devices is not the only way to solve the air pollution problem. We all could, in our own little ways, can actually make a difference. A good example of this would be to properly maintain your car. A well maintained engine means less air pollutants coming from it.
You might be asking why I have become environmentally aware all of sudden. Well, I just realized it a little while ago when I was walking in one of the streets in the downtown area. I just can’t stop coughing thanks to the smoke belching vehicles that pass by the area.

I built my first Web Site when I was fourteen years old and a site that offered free web hosting services hosted it. It’s not really something grand but I was somehow proud of being able to make my cyber mark on the World Wide Web.
Unfortunately due to some reasons I lost interest with building Web sites. It was just recently that I become attracted once again with the Internet. My dilemma now however is the fact that blogs have become more popular than Web sites. “What should I do? A blog or a Web site?”
This question has plagued me for a few days until I have read a post by George Lindemann Jr. He wrote that blogs are still, technically, Web sites made easier. Anyone who does not have any extensive knowledge with programming and coding but want to build their own Web site can make use of blogs. With this piece of information I was able to come up with a decision.
What was the decision? I think you already know ^_^

The Internet is growing and it is growing at a very fast rate. What’s great today may not be that great tomorrow.
Currently, the information superhighway has made a transition or an “upgrade” if you may call it. We are now utilizing the principles as well as tools of Web 2.0. However, such change has affected all of the World Wide Web. Internet citizens who want to take advantage of this “upgrade” will also need substantial knowledge when it comes to web 2.0 design and development.
I for one am not that familiar when it comes to these things. When I started blogging, I came across the term Web 2.0 frequently but never really bothered to do any research about it. It was just recently that I took my time and read about it. Now that I have become more aware of Web 2.0, I might become meticulous when it comes to blogging or any online activity for that matter.

My web host was down for about 4 days thus it became inaccessible. The server transfer was completed a few days ago unfortunately my site underwent some complications. As you may have observed, my database rolled back by 2 weeks meaning all of my posts for the past 3 weeks were taken off. Honestly I am quite ticked by this but I really can’t do anything about it. I just have to recreate the posts and hopefully nothing goes wrong again.
UPDATE: I still am experiencing some minor problems in regard to posting and commenting. Please bear with me while I fix these things.

Surprise! I was able to successfully update from Wordpress 2.3 to Wordpress 2.5. It’s been almost an hour since the update was completed and everything seems to be a-okay. Still crossing my fingers though ^_^
About the change in layout, this is just temporary. I’ll be changing this from time to time until I’m done with the page layout I am creating. Anyway, ’till next post ^_^
