Its Thursday and we were scheduled to meet again for Jiu Jitsu practice. My body was not really in a good condition that day since I haven’t had a good night’s sleep for the past 2 days and I was in DMC for my BLS training the whole day. But some other circumstances gave me no choice so I forced myself to play.
The usual people were there - Kim, Marc, and Hamir. There were two other guys who were not there last Tuesday - John and Zandro. I thought the two new guys were also new like Kim and me but it turns out that John had been practicing with Hamir for more than a year already and Zandro was a veteran Judo practitioner so technically me and Kim were still the newbies.
There’s one adjective to describe me that training session - LAZY. Actually, lazy would be an understatement to describe what I did. From the warm-ups to the drills, I would find ways to not perform or at least minimize my participation in them. It’s easier if Kim’s my partner since he understands my condition but if paired with other people, I would just say, “Ako lng ang uke.” I’m willing to be the practice dummy since a dummy does - nothing!

As I have stated in one of my previous posts, I will take every opportunity I can to be able to monetize this blog. Recently I found another site that provides bloggers a way to earn money using their blogs. The site is Pay Per Post.
More commonly known by the abbreviation PPP, it is one of the most popular sites that provide bloggers opportunity to make money online. As a legitimate company, it adheres to the word of mouth ethics which is for the protection of both the advertiser and publisher. This is manifested through the implementation of using a Disclosure Badge after each post.

Ever since I joined Pay Per Post, I really did not experience any problems with them. The system gives your pay promptly and with no hitches. Pay Per Post also provides their publishers quality advertisers. I think this is very important so as to maintain the integrity of the publishers’ or bloggers’ Web Sites and blogs.
Whatever earnings I get from Pay Per Post, I will save to be able to pay for my web host as well as renewal of my domain name. If I earn more than what I need for those two purposes, then I will use it to support my other online endeavors.
So if you have a blog and want to earn from it join now.

The other night my friend Kim contacted me about taking Jiu Jitsu lessons formally. Yes we have spent time trying out the moves we have seen on UFC but we never really had any formal training in the art. He said that a dojo is willing to take in new people for training. Given that I love Kenjutsu more than anything else, I hesitated.
A few minutes of talking and convincing, I gave in. I have been living a sedentary lifestyle for the past months, years even, and I guess its time to give my sweat glands a reason to work. If my muscles and bones were made of steel, they would have been so rusty by now.

A friend recently told me that he was going to Cebu City for a seminar. Given that I have lived in Cebu for 2 years, he asked me what hotels would be best to stay in. One hotel that I could think of is Waterfront Casino & Hotel.
Waterfront Casino & Hotel is one of the most popular hotels in Cebu City. In fact it is considered as a famous Philippine landmark. When I was there a few years back for the Ad Congress, the first impression that I got when I entered the place was, “WOW”. It is the epitome of style as well as elegance. I think Waterfront Casino & Hotel is the best place for first time visitors of the city like my friend. This would also be a convenient place for him to stay since they provide wireless Internet which is very essential for an active blogger like him. Another good thing about the Waterfront Casino & Hotel is its location.

Actually there are still other great hotels in Cebu City – it’s just that I’m not that familiar with them. I suggested to my friend to stay in Waterfront Casino & Hotel but I also recommended him to visit the site hotelscombined.com as it contains a lot of information on different hotels around the world. The site has a comprehensive list of hotels in Cebu City which can be found at http://www.hotelscombined.com/City/Cebu_City.htm.
