The EdgeA new weekly periodical called The Edge has been launched in Davao. Most of the topics in it are related to businesses as well as e-commerce specifically in Davao City. Copies of The Edge can only be acquired on chosen establishments all over the city. However, I am fortunate enough to receive a copy every week since my tita works for them.

When I woke up yesterday mid-morning (Monday), a new copy of the paper has already been delivered to my room. I browsed through the pages to see if there are any interesting topics. I was just flipping through the pages until I reached the Events section - indeed I found something interesting.

Black Valentines
What the hell?! That’s David (1H) together with his girlfriend April. They were in this event called Black Valentine’s sponsored by Clear. It’s not that I was shocked or anything but I was just not expecting to see him in this business periodical. Huy Dabid! Sikat na man ka bordy! Hehe :)

ahahaha, your past twin~ btw, who bought that paper?
(if i go home, can we buy star instead? crosswords and jumble and beerkada ♥)

oh, and clannad is quite an interesting anime. the way the show goes feels like you’re playing a game, or that it’s one of those RPG-turned-anime [instead of the other way around] type of thing, with the way the scenes change. and it’s another boy + harem type of story, except that the guy isn’t useless, has a lot of angst, and has an interesting character. it can riddle you with laughter one moment, and render you sober the next. i think the plot twist is quite predictable, but still worth waiting for :) the art isn’t bad too, and no fanservice, really. hehehe. plus points for that.

no fanservice? aw…that’s what i’m looking for in animes :( hehe :) from the sound of it, i think you’ve just become a new clannad fan. am i right? hehe. based on your review, i just can’t help but think of the anime tsukihime (harem+psychological/supernatural problems). anyway, i’ll watch the first few episodes and see if i’ll like it :) thanks for the info :)

ah, no, no, not a clannad fan. it’s more of since i started it, i had to finish. but each episode always had something significant to offer. it’s full of laughter, really. but not lacking in seriousness either :)

(and it’s not really the one-guy-and-a-lot-of-girls-have-the-hots-for-him kind of plot. the girls have more dignity and don’t throw themselves at the guy.)

    yeah, just watch it :p

as far as i know i think they don’t sell The Edge on newspaper stands. The paper is most likely available in coffee shops and other business establishments :)
