Mishel’s Thanksgiving Celebration
As expected, a lot of people were there to celebrate with Mishel. Among these people were loved ones, relatives, friends and even strangers who, just like me, want a piece of the lechon baboy ^_^
Despite the number of people gathered to celebrate, only 10% - 15% of them are the actual visitors of Mishel. The remaining 85% - 90% are acquaintances or friends of her parents. I have observed for the last 3 years that this has been the trend in their household every time Mishel and her brother Cocoy celebrate for something.
Fortunately I, together with other friends, were given special treatment. We were seated at the “VIP” area where we all can eat our pieces of lechon baboy in peace. There was Czamae together with Jason, Daphne, Didat, Didai (Spaghetti Monster - explanation on another blog entry), Riza (mini Spaghetti Monster) with Dading, and Jenyot.
After having had our fill of lechon baboy and other food came the next part of the program - Red Horse and San Mig Light per orem. I still had a hangover from the previous night and here I am again. Well, what can I say - I just can’t refuse a bottle of beer especially if it’s free.
By the way, one of the highlights of the night was the switching on of the custom-made night light that Jenyot gave to Mishel as a gift. It had all these nice drawings around it which was really kinda cute. Jenyot, gusto pd ko night light. hehe ^_^
