Pecz sent me some pictures of our group when we had our duty at the General Ward 1 of the Brokenshire Hospital. I think this was taken January or February of 2007. He asked me to post them so here they are.

I guess each and everyone of us had our own set of “barkadas” in high school. I had mine and it was called One Heart. The name was changed to 1H or OneH though because of some lingering issues about the term “One Heart”.
The barkada is composed of 13 members namely Gigoy, Andre, Kim, David, Sean, Dino, Vincent, Noli, Aaron, Tristan, Jim, Domelle, and Pancho (we’re not complete in the picture) . All of us had our own nicknames and specializations.
Andre aka Sdna, made a Web site about OneH a few years ago. Here’s an excerpt about the barkada from the Web site:
A group of Ateneo high school batch 2001 alumni who, even in the college days of separation, never forget the unique camaraderie that they have.
A rag-tag band of the perfect example of intellectuals who had the potential but had gone bad. Bad not in the criminal sense, but of the sunnier side, which means that these people aren’t your ordinary go and achieve high grades and excel in your field kind.
You can visit the site by clicking here. It hasn’t been updated in ages but the old pictures are still there.

With no plans for the day I decided to watch the movie Across The Universe. I actually had no idea what the film was all about. It’s just that it was mentioned to me a while back and I happen to remember the title yesterday.
"Is there anybody going to listen to my story, all about the girl who came to stay?" When this very first line was delivered by the lead actor, my interest-meter just went full scale, "Syet… Bitols…" And when the second Beatles song was played, I just knew that I was going to love this movie.
Well, the story was… uhm… nice. Boy meets girl, fell in love, things got complicated, resolution, boy ends up with girl. I didn’t want it to sound bad but it’s just that I think I was more into the music than the movie itself. I just loved how the Beatles songs were interpreted and incorporated in the movie.
Right after watching the movie, I just got this sudden itch to play the piano. I used to play those songs when my father bought this Beatles song book. So I went to the living room and started pressing on those white and black keys on the piano and played all the Beatles songs that my ears and clumsy fingers could remember.
For those who haven’t watched this movie, I suggest that you do whether you are a Beatles fan or not. Just imagine Moulin Rouge combined with The Science of Sleep topped off with songs from the Beatles~♫♪♫♪♪♫

Michelle has an Acer Aspire Gemstone 4710 notebook. It comes with a pre-installed Microsoft Windows Vista Home Operating System which I am not quite fond of. So I convinced her that I reformat the notebook and downgrade the operating system to Microsoft Windows XP SP2. Being the persistent person that I am, she agreed.
Before I started, I made sure that I had the necessary recovery DVDs for the Acer Aspire 4710 in case anything goes wrong. With everything ready, I switched the notebook on, pressed F2 to enter setup, changed the boot priority to the optical drive, popped the Microsoft Windows XP SP2 CD in the drive, saved settings and rebooted.

Ah… Time flew by so fast. A minute I was just a freshman, and the second minute I was still a freshman but a minute older~♥
It has already been 4 years++ when I first set foot on the bathroom-like tiles of the Brokenshire College main building - yep! Bathroom-like tiles. I was with my father back then who patiently accompanied me during enrollment. More…
